Undercover Cowboys in the mall

How fortunate that what started out as a day of grim revelation could get progressively better.

My only class today was Research Writing. I thought it wasn't so bad at first, but then when our teacher - I forget his name, it's Jeremaiah Surd or something - told us to write an essay on The Stranger using essays on atheism on morality as I frame, I realized, "Shit, this is RESEARCH WRITING. I HATE research writing."

Also, my teacher is pretty much Mr. Springer.

So I'm gonna find a way to drop that or my other academic class - Representing the Real - which is ALSO taught by Mr. Springer, and is a fucking History class in disguise.

Figures my theatre classes would be awesome, and all the others would blow.

But THEN I went to the Emerson organization fair, a big gathering of clubs.

I signed up to audition for two comedy troupes: This Is Pathetic (an improv group), and the Emerson Comedy Workshop (a sketch group, once attended by the likes of Dennis Leary and David Cross).

I also found Warlords, a group that makes action movies. They had a sample of their stuff playing and it was real cool. So I signed up for more info.

And then I met m' mom. We had lunch, lazed, and had dinner. I'm typing this from the Courtyard Marriot on Tremont Street.

So for now, things are cool.
