Suicide is painless

Today in improv, our sub instructor Richard was in charge. He's not a fantastic, high-rolling pro like Ken, but he's fun. We split into groups to look for newspaper articles to base an improv sketch on. We found one about six people in Tokyo who killed themselves together after having made a suicide pact online.

"I'm going to kill myself."
"That's... an awesome idea!"

On a whim, Richard invented a new exercise - one person was a psychiatrist, and everyone else had thirty seconds to explain why they wanted to kill themselves. The rest of the class was made up of exercises based on suicide. It's these kind of classes that remind me why I wanted to act in the first place.

I remember back when I would post on my Xanga just to appreciate the moon. Man, when I was coming out of rehearsal tonight, that moon was BRILLIANT and HUGE. There's nothing like a big, beautiful moon to put me in a good mood. And it's twice as nice when I'm already in a good mood!

Today's YouTube pick: Azumanga Daioh Episode 19 (Caution, may contain Japanese-style melancholy)

Man screw KEN CHEESEMEN, no self respecting individual works on projects involving TONY SHALOUB (Monk). Or Tim Robbins. Or Phil Collins.

By the way, I'm pretty sure my roommate has been keeping a bag of feces in a duffle bag under his bed. It has been suggested by my friends, that to teach him a lesson, I should convert his entire into a walk in apiary while suspending a bucket of hot honey over his head.
