Salazar Moonshine and The Hearts of Darkness in...
THE FINAL COUNTDOWN

Three days.

Today, here, in the 21st century, in the sixth most overpriced county in the nation, our house has been without power for nearly three days.

That's fucking outrageous.

I mean, it's pretty funny, too. It's been a wonderful, nearly life-affirming week, so its only fitting that it should end with such a snafu. I didn't even realize it was Labor Day.

So most of the weekend I've been playing Final Fantasy Tactics Advance (click) and walking around.

I saw turkeys. Four turkeys, walking in a row, just like the animated bit at the beginning of The Partridge Family. They crossed right in front of my path. Are turkeys lucky?

Anyway, this is it. My last few days before I leave home and step back into the darkness of Boston. There's so much I haven't done.

But still so much I can do.
