Tim was asked to cover the opening night of the Hoboken International Film Festival for the Journal's new video blog. Since he had the car, I had to go with him, and ended up being the camera man.
We spent five hours on assignment, and an additional seven to eight hours editting the video together. We set it to music by Vince Giordano and His Nighthawks Orchestra, which we felt was perfect.
When we submitted it, the paper was afraid of copyright infringment involving the music.
The way I see it, unless I'm trying to pass something off as my own, and as long as I credit it, it's fair game.
But whatever. We had to remove the music for the blog.
